Sustainability

At the beginning of this century, when José Carbonell took over the company, he decided that he would like to leave a better world for future generations.

So he started to improve the business and to work with more sustainable materials, which was unusual at this time.

Still today, we work to expand our range of sustainable and socially responsible textiles even further.

Oeko TEX®

The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certificate is an eco-label that guarantees that the labelled textile products have been tested for more than 300 harmful substances.

The certification is based on the OEKO-TEX® catalogue of scientifically based criteria and neutral laboratory tests, taking into account numerous substances, both regulated and non-regulated, that could be harmful to health, as well as preventive parameters.

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard)

GOTS guarantees the organic status of fabrics, from the harvesting of raw materials to labelling and environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing, in order to provide a reliable warranty to the consumer.

The standard covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labelling, trade and distribution of all textiles made from at least 70% certified organic natural fibres.

GRS (Global Recycled Standard)

The GRS is designed to meet the requirements of companies who want to verify the recycled content of their products (both finished and intermediate), and to verify responsible social, environmental and chemical practices in their production. The objectives of the GRS are to define requirements to ensure accurate content declarations and good working conditions, and that harmful environmental and chemical impacts have been minimised.
